One thing I like about this site is the ability to choose to jump to the latest post. Also, it’s really cool to be able to reply to one specific comment.
One suggestion for an enhancement for future consideration would be that when I’m in the menu choosing which forum to look at, it would be nice if I could see whether there were new posts or new topics in that forum.
Again, this site is fantastic, and I look forward to us all learning together.
I really like your suggestions, I can see new posts in categories visually, but there is no way to do this non-visually. One thing I would suggest though is to use the notifications button inside of a category, and turn on the watching feature for that category, and that should show notifications in your menu when there are new topics. Also, adding the forums to your Home Screen, and enabling push notifications will also alert you to new posts, which I use all the time!

You should receive notifications to replies automatically when you turn this on, but you should go to each category and change the setting to watching to get notifications of new posts.
